Nick Camillo

Nick Camillo joined Open City Advocates’ Board of Directors in June 2024. He is currently a Senior Counsel at Volkswagen Group of America. Nick is a registered patent attorney with experience in a variety of legal areas, including intellectual property litigation and prosecution, advertising and marketing transactions, privacy and cybersecurity counseling, and nonprofit governance, among others. Nick has been active in the nonprofit community having been the Associate General Counsel at the American Psychological Association and participating as a volunteer nonprofit consultant through Compass Pro Bono’s consulting program. Nick also maintained an active pro bono practice during his time as an associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, where he regularly received High Honors in the DC Bar’s Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll. Nick is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
